The technician that came to install the used servers had no idea what he was doing and messed everything up. All the wiring in the storage room that had been working just fine had been unplugged and the old servers were sitting on the floor next to the used poweredge servers that had never left the boxes they were shipped in. He left a bill for five hundred dollars and the secretary at the front desk paid it without every checking his work.

I think that the four technicians that came in the following day had to spend about four hours first putting everything back where it belonged and then four more switching the old servers over to the used servers that we were going to use now.

After they submitted their bill, the secretary told them that they would have to be mailed a check due to recent situations brought to her attention. In other words, she had gotten into big trouble and could not pay them for the installation of the used poweredge servers until her boss approved it and was satisfied with the work. I knew that they had done a good job when the whole system in the office came back up and was running like it used to years ago.
