My boss told me that we were going to hire a new web design company that had just moved to the area and I wondered if this was really a good idea. I had already been in contact with a very successful Arizona website design company for weeks and they had agreed to do the site at an unbelievably low price.

I tried to talk with my boss about his sudden change of heart with the Arizona website design company that we had talked in great length about but he had already made up his mind and we were apparently hiring the new web design company that I knew nothing about. Not to mention, they probably knew nothing about us or what we wanted out of our site.

I asked if I could sit in on the meeting that was scheduled for later in the week with our new web design company and my boss told me that it would be fine, as long as I treated them respectfully and did not show them that I really did not want to use them. I agreed with his terms and then walked down the hallway to make the call to the Arizona website design company to let them know that the deal we had been working on for over a month now was not going to happen.
